Establishing PMO at AstraZeneca
In April 2020, AstraZeneca partnered with Oxford University to rapidly develop a COVID-19 vaccine. The project faced significant risks, regulatory complexities, and intense global scrutiny. Within a week, a dedicated Project Management Office (PMO) was established to streamline operations, manage contracts, and mitigate risks. Adaptability was crucial as government contracts and manufacturing needs evolved. By July 2021, AstraZeneca had supplied 1 billion vaccine doses to 170 countries.
Digital Transformation of ILDC Bank
The case illustrates ILDC\'s transformation from a brick-and-mortar bank to a fully digital one focused on serving retail customers in India. ILDC\'s vision was to create a Modern digital bank catering to Modern India.
Township Project Construction by SLA Group
SLA Group is constructing a 10-story apartment complex in Pune using the Waterfall model. Learners will begin by defining the project scope, objectives, and success metrics, followed by creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), scheduling tasks, and estimating costs. Execution will focus on structured construction phases, progress tracking using Earned Value Management (EVM), and performance metrics. Stakeholder management will be key, addressing issues as they arise. The project will conclude with a final report, handover to residents, and lessons learned.
Smartphone Development
IL Technologies’ launching a new smartphone using a Hybrid Project Management approach. Hardware follows a Predictive model with fixed specs and timelines, while software runs on Agile with sprints, stand-ups, and user feedback. Integration checkpoints align both streams. The project wraps up with system testing, launch, and a post-launch review, emphasizing stakeholder communication, risk planning, and change management.
Toyota Kirloskar’s Lean Implementation in Manufacturing
Toyota Kirloskar aims to reduce waste and enhance efficiency in its Indian manufacturing plants. Learners will start by selecting a business process for optimisation, defining the problem statement, and collecting baseline data. They will apply root cause analysis and data collection techniques, incorporating insights. Using Lean Six Sigma principles, they will develop and test process improvements, implementing changes while monitoring the impact. Adjustments will be made based on data insights, leading to final optimisation and documentation. The project will conclude with a detailed closure report and recommendations for sustained efficiency improvements.

You will earn a prestigious certification from KPMG in India, validating your expertise and increasing your credibility in project management roles.
Graduates can pursue roles such as Project Manager, Agile Project Manager, Program Manager, Risk Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, and PMO Analyst, among others.
The program lasts 4 months with 100 hours of online live classes. The total program fee is ₹ 99,000, with a registration fee of ₹10,000 and two instalments of ₹ 45,000 and ₹ 44,000 respectively.
