Banking operations is that department of a bank that is responsible for the daily legal transactions of a bank like providing loans, mortgages and investments, depending on the focus and size of the bank. One of the most important functions of the operations department is to control and manage the trade processes of a bank and of the other branches of that bank. Since there are thousands of transactions taking place every second, this job has become incredibly complex.

Banking operations make sure banks’ processes and transactions are executed correctly, while minimizing risk and maximizing quality of service. The banking operations function also acts as a watchdog for the bank and oversees the regulatory requirements of the banks. Although this is a non-revenue generating function, this function is highly critical to the profitable functioning of a bank. Stream-lined banking operations can feed billions of dollars into a bank’s bottom line.


The Indian banking industry is expected to hire as many as 85,000 candidates over the coming years, and the bulk of this demand will come from retail banks. Operations, as a function, requires specialized knowledge and skillsets. Walk into our Imarticus centers for a personalized counseling session by our trained counselors, which will be followed by a written assessment and an interview.

Online Enrollment

Please click below to fill in the online assessment form. To start off, you pay the assessment fees of Rs.300*. Upon payment, please call us to receive your assessment link. After clearing the online assessment, you will be invited to interview with us either physically or by phone.

Upon successfully clearing the assessment and the personal interview, you can register and enroll in the next Branch Operations program.
