Eligibility Criteria

At ISFB, we look for more than just strong grades - we seek future finance leaders who are curious, ambitious, and ready to create real-world impact.

  • Applicants must be in their final year of Class 12 or have completed it from a recognised board: ISC, CBSE, IB Diploma, Cambridge A-Levels, or State Boards.
  • A minimum of 70% aggregate (or equivalent GPA) in Class 10, 11 and/or 12 if available.
  • Exceptional cases - such as national-level achievements, entrepreneurial ventures, or finance-related projects may be considered even if scores fall short.

  • Candidates must be under 20 years of age at the time of admission.
  • Gap year students are welcome, provided they can demonstrate a productive use of their time (internships, research, entrepreneurship, or other learning experiences).

  • Applicants must submit a completely filled Application Form.
  • All applicants must take the ISFB Entrance Test (IET).
  • Applicants may also submit optional scores (SAT, ACT, CUET, or other recognised exams) to enhance their application strength.

Beyond academics, ISFB looks for:

  • Leadership & Initiative - positions of responsibility in school, clubs, or social projects.
  • Finance & Entrepreneurship Orientation - participation in finance clubs, competitions, or entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Passion & Purpose - through your essays, SOP, and personal interview, we assess your motivation, curiosity, and clarity of career vision.

Application Process

Every great journey begins with a first step. At ISFB, our application process looks beyond grades - we want to see your drive, perspective, and what makes you unique. From your story to the IET, the interview, and securing your spot, each step is your chance to show us why you belong here.

Step-1

Complete & Submit the Application Form

Start by filling out the online application form with your academic details, achievements, and career interests. This is where you tell us your story and why finance excites you.

Step-2

Appear for the ISFB Entrance Test (IET)

All applicants take the IET, a short assessment designed to test Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient, Social Quotient, General Knowledge, English, Creativity, Expression & Communication.

Step-3

Meet us for an In-Person Interaction (IPI)

If shortlisted, the final stage is a face-to-face in person interaction with ISFB team & partners at the campus. Here, we look for clarity of thought, motivation, and the spark that sets you apart.

Step-4

Offer Decision & Enrolment

You’ll hear from us within 3 weeks of your in-person interaction. If selected, reserve your seat by accepting the offer letter & paying a one-time admission fee.

Part A: Foundations Assessment

Format & duration

  • Multiple-choice questions testing Quantitative & Logical Reasoning, Situational Judgement, Business & Social Acumen and Language & General Knowledge.
  • 54 minutes

How to prepare

  • Brush up on number patterns, data interpretation, ratios, financial literacy, market trends, macroeconomics, current affairs, reading comprehension, vocabulary & grammar.

Part B: Expressions Evaluation

Format & duration

  • Video Recording
  • 6 minutes: 5 mins prep & 1 min to record.

What you do

  • Choose one topic and prepare from two prompts.
  • Record your video on the chosen topic.

How to shoot

  • Live during the IET on your Laptop/ Desktop camera. Quiet space, steady frame, good light. One take. No edits.

What is assessed

  • Creativity, conviction, communication & originality.

Format

  • On campus, face to face interaction with ISFB faculty, Advisory Board member or an Industry Partner.

What to expect

  • Your intent and basics
  • A mini-case or scenario
  • Follow-up questions on your form/video essay.

How to prepare

  • Upload required document proofs like marksheets, government ID alongwith statement of purpose (SOP) of max 200 words on ‘Why do you want to join ISFB?‘
  • Be ready to think aloud, do quick mental math, and discuss a recent finance development you tracked.

If you’re selected, you’ll receive an official offer of admission from ISFB. To secure your place, complete the enrolment formalities - submit the required documents, confirm your acceptance, and pay the one-time admission fee. Once enrolled, you’ll receive your pre-term preparation pack, orientation schedule, and (if opted) residence details to get you ready for the journey ahead.
